The ' fire protection"is inspired by the architecture of the ethnic and nomadic people. The accommodation consists of a specific form, stretching to the sky. This protection is the main components manufactured using CNC technology, with plywood and polycarbonate . The walls consist of thin and flexible shells that are tightened with screws and a 2 mm of piece of thick polycarbonate. The underside of the shelter is plywood produced and on the inside, a fire on the ground surrounded by a bank. The Bank is full construct components on the site. The upper component of shelter is in white transparent polycarbonate. In this way, animal shelter lighthouses brings back memories of old times.

Description by Simon Hjermind Jensen
"Fire SHELTER: 01 is an individual project is located at the Sydhavnstippen in Copenhagen." The starting point for the style arose from a fascination of the place. A temporary project, design and style experiment that want to celebrate it on the spot BB´s. The project has public access and creates experiences of spatial and social character. When creating him, which advice was asked no one has neither possible to inform each person his opinion. It is considered only as a gift. Much more on that later.
Animal shelter designed, manufactured and paid for by the company SHJWORKS. The Assembly work, with the use of ladders, arose Bøcker Sørensen and other feasible assisted by Christian. Hopefully is the protection for a year. SHJWORKS have a great respect for the value of the area, and we don't think that we threaten these values, the realization of this project. The shelter is a short-term project and the date on which it is gone, will not mark it."
