We’re heading out to a film festive at Taylor University where my son’s film will be shown (along with other students’ films). I’m excited and still have lots to do before we leave – so will keep my opening short and sweet!
Jubilee Furniture is open today (Friday) from 1 to 8 and tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 to 4. We have 30,000 square feet of quality used furniture – primarily for the home but a few office pieces too! The proceeds of everything we sell are supporting the programs and services at Outreach Community Ministries. Every donation and every purchase impacts area kids and families and we’re grateful!
I have an excellent team filling in for me who’d love nothing better than connecting with you and helping you find a fabulous something that you can use as is or repurpose!
What follows are some of the new-to-us pieces donated this week:
gorgeous mission-style table, two leaves and six chairs – all for $475. Table top needs some work but otherwise in excellent condition. Photo shows both leaves in the table
FIVE piece Walter E. Smithe sectional – donor had a cat and there is cat hair along the top, also there’s a rip where the back cushion meets the sofa on the corner piece (not super noticeable) priced $125 (round side table was from last week and it’s $25)
another fun chaise – this one by McCreary and it’s in great condition and priced $195
extremely cool “mail room” rolling cart which I think would be excellent as a kitchen cart, in a play room for toys, an industrial take on a tea cart – so many options (both baskets lift out)! Priced $85; neat-o swivel stool next to it is $65
wee roll top desk priced $95
wee dresser with secretary for $85
interesting end table priced $45 (I think – I forgot to write this one down) and there are two of them
fabulous McCreary for Room & Board two piece sofa/chaise – all cushions are there and in excellent condition – main body of the sofa/chaise is in great condition and the upholstery is fairly good. That to say, you could JUST slip-cover the cushions a fun contrasting or complimentary fabric – or – reupholster the whole thing! Priced $175
set of six leather dining chairs – in excellent shape structurally but several of them are ripping along the seams at the top – I know you can buy slip-covers for chairs like this and for $125 for all six – the cost of slip-covers would still make this a great deal!
wonderful bookcases priced $125 each
Thomasville two towers, lighted bridge, king-size headboard and frame and mirrors – in lovely oak – priced $295
we received a number of these retro credenzas by National Office Furniture – which are narrow enough to make great media stands or even a hall or sofa table (with lots of wonderful storage) – priced $95 each
this two piece sectional is showing wear in spots – but not too bad – priced $135
Stanley brand chest of drawers for $85; matching full size headboard and frame for $50; dresser with mirror (see mirror leaning there?) priced $50; two drawer nightstand for $20; full size mattress is $40; and the full size box spring is $15
fantastic drop leaf table with two benches – priced $225 for the set – note one bench need to be refinished
wood trimmed sofa by Riverside – priced $65
sweet side table for $55
twin size IKEA headboard, footboard and side rails for $50; chest of drawers for $75; two door nightstand for $35
gorgeous matted and framed print by Alfredo Ramos Martinez priced $100
Blessings to you, dear reader! I’ll see you next week!
