Greetings and thank you for stopping by the Jubilee Furniture blog where typically every Friday I show you some of the new-to-us furniture which was donated that week hoping to entice you to stop by the store to see our inventory in person and then – if it works for your home and budget – to purchase!
But that’s not what’s happening today. Why? Because you’ve joined us at week two of a three part liquidation sale. So, here’s the skinny.
Everything currently in our store is 50% off the price tag price. All discounts will be taken at the register (8% sales tax is added after the 50% off is taken).
All purchased merchandise MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, MARCH 29TH BEFORE 4:00 P.M.! NO EXCEPTIONS! Why? Because Jubilee Furniture is moving! Booyah!
Where is Jubilee Furniture moving? Just east of our current location (730 E. North Ave. Carol Stream). The building we purchased was most recently The Carol Stream House of Carpet though was originally built as a Frank’s Nursery and Craft.
When is Jubilee Furniture moving? We’ll open in our new location on Friday, April 4th at 1 p.m.
Does this mean Jubilee Furniture will be open more days? Yep! Starting Thursday, April 10th, our store hours will be Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 8 and Saturdays from 9 to 4.
What does that mean for the Friday blog post? It’ll move to Thursdays.
So Susan, you said I’ve joined you at week two of a three part liquidation sale – what’s happening next week? Excellent question! On Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th whatever’s remaining in the store will be 80% off the price tag price. BUT REMEMBER – EVERYTHING PURCHASED AT OUR CURRENT LOCATION MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, MARCH 29TH BEFORE WE CLOSE AT 4:00 P.M.! We will NOT be moving sold merchandise to our new location. We reserve the right to dispose of, or donate, anything not picked up by 4:00 p.m. on March 29th.
What might I find today at the store? Another great question! Let’s take a look at SOME of our current inventory!

And as always, dear reader, thank you for your support of both Jubilee Furniture and Outreach Community Ministries. I’m still amazed how this little furniture store has grown! Who’d have thunk?!
